Ambulance Corps
The Ridgefield Volunteer Ambulance Corps is a non-profit, non-billing emergency medical agency that proudly serves residents living in Ridgefield. RVAC is also a member of the East Bergen Ambulance Association, an organization made up of surrounding towns in the area that provides mutual aid in cases of large scale incidents, fires, etc.
We are staffed with dedicated volunteers who are NJ State Certified Emergency Medical Technicians and First Responders, who must continue schooling and training to meet NJ State requirements.
We are always looking for additional volunteers to join us. If you are interested in joining or would just like an overview of the ambulance corps and what we do, you are invited to come down and see us.
Ridgefield residents that require ambulance transportation, wheelchairs, walkers/crutches can call 201-943-5577 to make arrangements. Transportation arrangements must be made 24 hours ahead of time and can only be done during the week days after 4pm.
